Application Method for Antique Wood Finish
77 Lubricite’s proprietary formula is a shellac-based padding lacquer. It is ready for use, and you do not need to add shellac, alcohol or oils. Apply 77 Lubricite™ using the French-Polish/Hand Rubbing technique. We recommend a pad for applying. You can apply 77 Lubricite™ over many different materials. It is best on raw wood or newly stained wood. That is when you get the great shine. But you can also apply it to existing finishes. Each finish may require more or less layers. So be sure to understand the capabilities of this wood finish lacquer before applying to your precious antique.
