77 Lubricite™

77 Lubricite™ is a shellac based padding lacquer thats proprietary formula makes up our modern-day French Polish. For anyone who hand polishes wood and leather. It can be mixed or combined with our QT and Arti-Olesol alcohol stains for staining and glazing. Use for touch-ups with aniline and mineral powders.

77 Lubricite ™ Hardener- A Nitro Cellulose based additive that gives extra durability to heavily used surfaces. Typically used on more heavily used surfaces and is not necessary to use with the 77 Lubricite™. This should be used by professionals with experience using 77 Lubricite™, as it can over harden the surface and lead to streaks, if not used sparingly. Add 4oz of hardener to 1 quart of 77 Lubricite™ if desired.

  • ACETONE Fast-drying solvent with a multitude of applications. Add to lacquer thinners (up to 50%) in cold weather to speed up the drying time of nitrocellulose lacquers. For cleaning of raw wood or stripped wood and metal prior to finishing or refinishing. Also for rapid removal of moisture from wood surfaces prior to refinishing.
  • DENATURED ALCOHOL– Pure denatured alcohol designed for thinning shellac and Sealcoat™. Excellent in wood prep cleaning and moisture removal. Excellent for neutralizing or washing furniture and millwork surfaces after stripping. Use to clean spray guns or add to any nitrocellulose, pre-cat, or conversion varnish. Let dwell on the surface to do its work. Supplied in powder form. Corrosive! Do NOT mix with any other product. ONLY with water!
